Nathan Clark George with Jon Anderson leading worship at the inaugural Coram Deo Pastor's Conference in Matthews, NC. The recording was taken in the Sanctuary of Christ Covenant Church with 1600 men. Some songs were sung with just a piano and guitar, some with a band, and some with full orchestra. My goal for this recording of both classic hymns and newer songs was to simply represent the power and joy that was so clearly evident in the moment.

Nerdy Technical Stuff: Recording in a large room with a full band, orchestra, and a congregation came with it's challenges. As we took account of what we recorded we first realized that many of the songs did truly capture the energy and joy that was present in the room. At the same time there were multiple technical challenges related to "mic bleed." So, I set about using AI to separate noise from instruments and certain instruments from other instruments. Once this was done I set about using some sampled orchestral sounds and newly recorded tracks to supplement the actual sounds we captured in order to achieve the needed volume of particular instruments. It was a fun process and I'm really proud of the end result. Plus, I learned a lot and I look forward to more projects like this in the future! - Nathan
